PTI asks Altaf to stop maligning party chief

ISLAMABAD :  Utterly alarmed by the accusations made by MQM leader Altaf Hussain that Imran Khan was dancing to the tune of international establishment against him, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) has categorically rejected the claim and asked the latter to stop blaming Imran Khan.
Imran’s party, the PTI, on Sunday reacted sharply to the allegations leveled against its leader by chairman of MQM Altaf Hussain and advised the latter to stop dragging Imran Khan into what (according to PTI) is an entirely British government’s matter relating to a murder committed in the UK.
“We are shocked to see how did chairman of MQM Altaf Hussain named PTI Chairman Imran Khan as one of three people allegedly used by international “Establishment” (whatever that means) against him,” Dr Shireen m Mazari, Information Secretary of PTI said.
She made it loud and clear that the Scotland Yard search of Altaf Hussain’s house and its ongoing investigations were all related to the Dr Imran Farooq murder investigation. This is, she said, an internal matter of the UK involving a crime that took place in the UK of a UK resident and Hussain is also a British citizen. And that the matter doesn’t relate to Imran Khan or the PTI at all, she maintained.
“Imran Khan or the PTI has never issued any statement on this case. So, it is irrational to try and bring in PTI and its Chairman into what is an entirely British government matter relating to a murder committed in the UK,” Dr Mazari said.
She reminded that PTI’s protest to the UK government and Scotland Yard has been strictly related to Altaf Hussain’s activities/speeches directly relating to internal electoral politics of Pakistan and the murder of Zahra, a central leader of PTI from Karachi.
The blame game, it is believed, started soon after the death of Zahra Hussain in May last. Her murder prompted Imran Khan to hold Altaf Hussain responsible for her death.
According to insiders, the British police are currently looking into complaints made against Altaf Hussain who is alleged of getting killed Zahra.

Imran wants Nawaz to debut term with strike at drone.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) should fulfill its responsibilty and begin its tenure from this point, "PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry quoted Mr.Khan as saying at a press conference at a local hotel on Thursday.

Imran Khan condemned the sipralling load shedding across the country.

Lahore (26 May,2013) Chairman PTI, Imran Khan, today condemned the spiralling load shedding across the country at a time when temperatures are also soaring. He said the Caretakers have been shameless in their torment of the ordinary Pakistani with unprecedented utility price hikes and load shedding which has been taken to a level where effectively the country has no electricity except for a few hours a day at best.
Imran Khan criticised the Caretaker government to release the required funds for easing up on load shedding. With the excessive heat all across the country the Caretakers are aggravating the divide between rich and poor with the poor bearing the brunt of the fallout from rising prices and load shedding. This is absolutely unacceptable, Khan added. He demanded the Caretaker government immediately sensitize themselves to the suffering of the nation and provide relief against the prevailing excessive load shedding.
